Key Responsibilities
🏥 Dispensing & Prescription Management
  • Assist the pharmacist in dispensing medicines as per the doctor’s prescription.
  • Ensure 100% prescription fulfilment—arrange unavailable medicines from in-house branches.
  • Consult the doctor before substituting medicines.
  • Cross-verify issued medicines with the bill (patient name, quantity, expiry, etc.) and acknowledge correctly.
🤝 Customer / Patient Service
  • Counsel patients/customers on medicine usage, side effects, and health guidance.
  • Maintain good rapport with customers and doctors.
  • Manage home-delivery register and ensure timely delivery of medicines.
  • Handle inbound calls for drug information, patient queries, counseling & delivery orders.
  • Assist at billing counter & handle cash when required.
❄️ Cold Chain & Storage Management
  • Maintain proper storage conditions for temperature-sensitive drugs.
  • Check batch number, expiry date, MRP, and quantity of received stock before entry.
  • Ensure accurate computer billing and stock entries.
📦 Inventory & Stock Control
  • Update stock entries in the system; generate stock receipts and cross-check with store issue list.
  • Transfer stock to/from nearby branches when required (BT – Branch Transfer).
  • Coordinate with Distribution Center (DC) for emergency stock collection.
  • Maintain “No Stock” list and follow-up for replacements.
  • Conduct 100% physical stock tally by category twice a week & daily verification of fast-moving items.
  • Ensure smooth shift handover before leaving duty.
  • Support pharmacy sales and help achieve monthly targets.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the in-charge.

  • UG: Any Graduate
  • PG: Any Postgraduate (preferred but not mandatory)
