Expansion of Homestay Programme in West Godavari Region

The state government of Andhra Pradesh has prioritised the expansion of its “homestay” model in the Godavari region (including West Godavari). The initiative aims to provide cultural immersion, link rural households with tourism, and tap into local crafts, cuisine and traditions. 
For the Eluru area this means new tourism-opportunities in nearby villages, offering visitors a deeper cultural experience rather than just sightseeing.
